Fund: Virgin’s BVI Community Support Appeal
Organiser: Richard Branson/Virgin Unite
Currency: US Dollars & Pound Sterling options
What happens with your donation: “We are working with Virgin Limited Edition and Unite BVI to support the local BVI communities in the medium to long-term. They will be working with local organisations to identify the ongoing needs of affected individuals and communities including the families of those employees affected by this disaster.”
Fees: NO FEES. Virgin Unite’s overheads are covered by Richard Branson and the Virgin Group, meaning that 100% of all donations received will go directly to helping support local BVI communities.
Gift Aid: You can also add Gift Aid to your donation if you are a UK tax payer, meaning an extra 25% of your donation will be added on top.

Fund: VISAR YouCaring Fund

What happens with your donation: “Whilst our boats are not yet in the water, what we can do is help coordinate fundraising efforts to support the work being done on the ground by the emergency team running out of Peebles Hospital. We will use our contacts with the Department of Disaster Management, The Governor’s office, The Premiers office and other charitable organisations to ensure every dollar donated goes directly to those most in need.”

Fund: British Virgin Islands Medical Supplies

What happens with your donation: We have $500,000 worth of Medical Supplies and Medicine that was requested directly for Peebles Hospital. The supplies are boxed up and ready to go. We do have a plane that we have been given to use but need to cover fuel and engine hour cost which is $10K round trip from Dallas.
